summary:
ikora, who continued to directly and aggressively disobey orders to stop arming guardians against the reef post-cayde, has been exiled from the last city for her dangerous insubordination. after traveling to the tangled shore to hunt the barons and uldren herself, she united with petra to track them down. the two fall in love as time goes on; ikora earns the loyalty of a unique crew of eliksni by saving their lives. as time goes on, she grows a crime syndicate as a front for her operations in the reef and becomes a rival to the spider. she goes on to become a major player in the fight for the dreaming city.

summary:
a simple hidden operation hoes horribly wrong, leaving ikora ghostless and mortally wounded with only chalco as her witness...at least until eris appears, swathed in hive magick. she quickly gets to work imbuing ikora with unknown energy in an attempt to save her life as chalco watches, dumbfounded that someone like ikora could be struck down at all. eris revives her with the power of darkness and must lead her into her new life - and help her reconcile with who she has become, much like ikora did for her after the hellmouth. chalco watches on and tries to bond again with her friend and mentor while overcoming the guilt she feels over the situation.

summary:
searching for an artifact together on the dreadnaught, ikora pulls eris out of the jaws of death and leaps into the darkness in her stead, becoming taken. she next appears in the court of oryx and slaughters three fireteams of guardians at once. devising a plan to get her back, zavala and cayde train to face her, also becoming taken in their fight with her.
this leaves the vanguard apprentices to suddenly lead the city and find a way to retrieve their mentors while taking out oryx. scheduling a raid team, the three apprentices distract the taken vanguard at the court while the six guardians slay oryx. the apprentices are taken as well, but the raid team is successful. next begins the process of finding their taken ghosts in their throne worlds and purifying them through the traveler’s light.
the six vanguard are successfully cleansed and returned to the light with new ghosts, but are barred from active duty due to their sacrifices and trauma. they spend the rest of their days living and healing together.

summary:
those blessed with light possess a great celestial form reminiscent of abrahamic angels, while awoken have bartered with unknown forces to gain dark powers that grant them hellish transformation powers. at ends with one another naturally, the guardians and awoken must find common ground to defeat their shared enemies while still staying true to themselves.

summary:
in days past, people who broke the mold, were socially rejected, or didn’t fit average expectations - whether by physical appearance, behavior, or talent - could find work with the circus, sideshows, or “freak shows”. often hosted by people who sought to use and abuse these people they saw as “lesser” than them for money, they were a popular entertainment for the mainstream crowd.
what if those who found their family among the outcasts and misfits of the circus rose up and took it back to change the show business industry, and promote widespread social change?
disclaimer:
through storytelling and historical acknowledgement of the past atrocities often overlooked in the background of the circus and similar groups, the creator of this story seeks to create a wholesome story about found family, overcoming bigotry, and embracing one’s self to the fullest. i do not condone the circus or any of the terrible acts performed in the creation and maintenance of it historically.
